I began taking organ lessons in college and then kept studying privately for several years after that. While in Houston, I started my first organist job at First Presbyterian Church of Sugar Land. I moved to Chicago and became the organist at Barrington United Methodist Church. However, my career was mostly defined by my work at the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. During my time there, I played for nearly 30 concerts (solo, collaborative instrumental, and choral), performed for many high profile events (including the 2023 national gala of the American Guild of Organists), and helped manage one of the largest church music programs in the country.
